The application period for young musicians for the International Opera Studio "Silvio Varviso", open to singers and instrumentalists wanting to participate in this year's opera production, ended yesterday. We are very pleased to have received a large number of applications from all over the world!
Applicants are invited to perform in live auditions, which will be held on Tuesday, February 26 and Wednesday, February 27 at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano. These will be open to the public with free entrance. The audience is invited to witness firsthand the selection of the cast for the opera that Ticino Musica will prepare this year: Gaetano Donizetti's "Rita o il marito picchiato"!
