Programme of the video audition

• Role of Serafina (soprano): 2 arias by Donizetti in Italian, one of which must be "Da me lungi” from Il Campanello.
• Role of Enrico (baritone): 2 arias by Donizetti in Italian, one of which must be 'Il segreto per esser felici' from Il Campanello (the same aria by Maffio Orsini in Donizetti's Lucrezia Borgia for mezzo-soprano, same key: Il segreto per esser felici)
• Role of Don Annibale Pistacchio (basso buffo): 2 arias by Donizetti in Italian, one of which must be "Bella cosa, amici cari" from Il Campanello.

Programme of the live audition

For all roles, one aria and one duet from Il Campanello, both in Italian.

• Communication of admitted applicants: 30 January 2025
• Live auditions: 9 (or possibly 10 and 11) March  2025
• Communication of selected participants: 15 March 2025

Singers from all nationalities are admissible. Age limit: 35 years. The jury may decide on exceptions of small entity. Selected singers that participate in the Opera Studio and respect its terms and conditions will be awarded a scholarship of CHF 1500.—.
