On Sunday March 17, at 5 pm, the Ticino Musica Circle of Friends presents an all-Ticino concert, where young talents selected to participate in the Swiss Youth Music Competition will play. The event with free admission will take place in the charming Bottega del Pianoforte in Rivera-Bironico, a very important piece in the cultural mosaic of the area. An hour before the concert, at 4 pm, there will be an Assembly of the Circle of Friends: anyone interested is warmly welcome!
In this very important "dress rehearsal" before the actual competition, which will be held the following week, pianists Sergio Andrea Besomi, Tommaso Ludovico Grassi, Bianca Ferrazzini, Nora Catalano, Amalia Zampa, Anna Margherita Zampa and Nicolas Mottini, violinists Gianluigi Giosuè Sebastian Sartori and Matilda Raffo and bassoonist Matilde Pompilio will perform. The program will feature music by Karl Stamitz, Franz Schubert, Maurice Ravel, Ludwig van Beethoven, Richard Wagner, Fritz Kreisler, Edvard Grieg, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Witold Lutosławski.
