For each role there are two interpreters, who will alternate in the various performances: Carolina will be Anastasia Terranova (soprano, Italy) or Seyoung Kang (soprano, Korea), Count Robinson will be Bryan Sala (bass, Italy) or Leonardo Cremona (bass, Italy), Elisetta will be Miriam Lina Tsiklauri (soprano, Georgia) or Rui Hoshina (soprano, Japan), Fidalma will be Sayumi Kaneko (mezzo-soprano, Japan) or Ambra Biaggi (mezzo-soprano, Switzerland), Geronimo will be Alfonso Michele Ciulla (bass, Italy) o Stefano Paradiso (bass, Italy), while Paolino will be Brayan Avila Martinez (tenor, The Netherlands) or Luigi Coffa De Lorenzo (tenor, Italy). The singers will be accompanied by the Ticino Musica Ensemble (made up of young musicians selected through an international audition), which will perform the work in a reworking for instrumental ensemble with real parts.
It will be possible to attend the performances of "The secret marriage" from 15 July, with the open general rehearsal which will take place in Riva San Vitale, in Casa Houck. The actual première of the work will be held on Tuesday 18 July in the Aula Magna of the Conservatory, an event that will open the 27th edition of the Ticino Musica Festival.
