The Fedro Quintet consists of soloists and orchestra musicians from Italy's leading youth orchestras: Emma Longo (soloist and flutist from the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana), Paolo Vivaldelli (Oboist from the Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico and Opera in Cairo), Samuele Di Federico (Clarinettist from the Orchestra Cherubini and Filarmonica di Modena, on this occasion replaced by Davide Pellegri), Lara Eccher (Cornist from the Orchestra di Sanremo and Orchestra Vivaldi), Augusto Palumbo (soloist and bassoonist at the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza and in the Accademia Teatro alla Scala).
The ensemble was formed during the pandemic period with the students of M. Michele Marasco's chamber music class at the Conservatorio 'Vecchi-Tonelli' in Modena and with the students of the same class of M. Guido Corti at the Conservatorio 'G.B. Martini' in Bologna.
