The openclass, open to the public, offers the opportunity to witness firsthand the work carried out within the Academy by young international talents under the guidance of one of the most prominent performers and teachers on the European scene.
Stefano Molardi, organist, harpsichordist and conductor, has studied with great masters such as Tagliavini and Radulescu. He is a lecturer at the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana in Lugano and the Conservatorio Giacomo Puccini in La Spezia and winner of numerous international competitions. He has critically awarded recordings and an intense concert activity in Europe and beyond.
Alongside him are the young musicians participating in Ticino Musica's masterclass, coming from different countries and united by their search for authenticity and stylistic rigor.
The program is entirely dedicated to the Italian Baroque school, with composers such as Frescobaldi, Pasquini and Zipoli, in a journey that explores its language, elegance and expressive variety.
The event takes place at the Parish of Mendrisio, a treasure chest of spirituality and acoustics ideal for rediscovering the ancient sounds of the organ.
