The protagonist of the evening is Danilo Rossi, for more than 30 years first viola soloist of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, an artist with an international career, known for his profound musicality and ability to convey the instrumental tradition with great personality and passion. Alongside him is the Rilke Quartet, an emerging ensemble composed of talented musicians from the best European schools, selected to participate in Ticino Musica as an ensemble in residence.
