Auditions for the following characters:
Don Eusebio, Berenice's uncle (tenor)
Berenice, Conte Alberto's fiancée (soprano)
Conte Alberto (tenor)
Don Parmenione (buffo)
Ernestina (mezzosoprano)
Martino, servant (buffo)
Candidates have to present a freely chosen aria, preferably from the 18th or beginning 19th century,
and if possible a piece (aria, duet, etc.) from L'occasione fa il ladro
Auditions will take place on
March 2 and 3, 2012
at the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana,
via Soldino 9, 6900 Lugano (Switzerland)
Scholarships will be given to the singers
who will sing the characters during the performances
Usufructuaries and amounts of the scholarships will be decided irrevocably by the Artistic Commission composed of the Artistic Director of the Ticino Musica Festival, the Music and Stage Directors (see terms of participation).
